<p>The invention provides an antigen for increasing CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ regulatory T cells, which can be the full-length heat shock protein 60KDa of Schistosoma japonicum (SjHSP60) or the SjHSP60 deleting amino acids 435-458. The invention also provides uses of the antigen as an immunosuppressant and for manufacturing medicaments for treating diseases caused by immune response.</p>
