PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing reduced in a stirring resistance by suppressing the accumulation of a lubricating oil on the inner peripheral surface side of the outer ring. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing includes an inner ring 10, the outer ring 20, and a plurality of rolling elements 40 rollably disposed between the inner ring 10 and the outer ring 20 while being held by a retainer 30. An outer diameter side projection part 34 projecting to a position near an outer ring raceway surface 23 on the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 20 beyond the pitch circle of the disposed rolling elements 40 is formed on each of the column parts 33 of the retainer 30.
