PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-tightness inspection method and an inspection system of a container capable of conducting high precision inspection efficiently. SOLUTION: The airtight inspection system of a container which inspects the air-tightness of a container containing liquid using a leak detector 200 detecting the presence or absence of the leakage of gas from an inspection container 10 has a container pressing mechanism 100 pressing a prescribed region of the container 10 so as to be push in the region prior to the assembling of the container 10 as an inspection container to the leak detector 200.
