The cylinder head has fluid passages (54-58) permitting communication of a serpentine shaped cylinder head hot zones cooling channel i.e. water circulation channel (46), with cavities closest to hot zones of the cylinder head, where the cylinder head is cooled by coolant e.g. water. The coolant penetrates in the channel by a channel inlet (42) communicating with the pump to circulate in the channel. Sections of the fluid passages in the channel are variable in a part of the channel such that fluid flow is constant in the channel, the fluid passages and the cavities.
