The machine (1) has eccentric cam axles whose lower terminal point on a circular path corresponds to a lower maximum of a ram stroke movement. An upper terminal point of the eccentric cam axles on the circular path corresponds to an upper maximum of the ram stroke movement, so that a range of rotational movement (RB) of the eccentric cam axles between the terminal points corresponds to a maximum ram stroke of a plunger (7). An oscillation motion region of the eccentric cam axles is spaced along the circular path and the lower terminal point.
