<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical tone signal generating apparatus whose processing speed is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 19a performs reservation of the tone generating channel for generating the musical tone signal, by supplying a parameter for specifying a musical tone signal to be generated, to a tone source circuit 17 including the tone generating channels CH0 to CH127 for generating the musical sound signals. The tone source circuit 17 includes a first memory 17c for storing the parameter supplied from the CPU 19a. In response to the reservation of the tone generating channel by the CPU 19a, information indicating whether or not, the tone generating channel is reserved, is written into key-on map registers KM0 to KM127. The tone source circuit 17 detects that the tonal volume level of the musical signal generated in the reserved tone generating channels is a predetermined tonal volume level or less, and makes the reserved tone generating channels start generation of the musical tone signals specified by the musical tone information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
