<p>Disclosed is a buckle that is adequate for use with a strap that runs diagonally across the surface of a human body. The buckle (1) comprises a female member (2) and a male member (3) that can be attached to/detached from said female member (2). The aforementioned female member (2) has an insertion opening (21) that fits with the end of the male member, has a pair of lock openings (22) at the sides thereof, and has a connection section (23) at the back end thereof that is for connecting to the strap. The aforementioned male member (3) has two engaging protrusions (31) at the front section thereof, has a base section (33) at the back section thereof that supports these protrusions, and the base section has connection sections (35, 36) that are for connecting to the strap. The aforementioned female member (2) and the aforementioned male member (3) contort in the diagonal direction, forming a height difference (H).</p> |
