<p>A battery pack (100, 300) and a method of charging the same are disclosed. The battery pack is chargeable by a variety of chargers (200) which have different output voltages. The battery pack comprises a chargeable battery cell (110, 310); a charging terminal part (120, 320) selectively connectable to the battery cell; a protection circuit (130, 330) configured to control charging and discharging of the battery cell; a first switching element (140, 340) connected between the battery cell and the charging terminal part; a converter circuit (160, 360, 361) connected to the charging terminal part, the converter circuit configured to receive an input voltage applied to the charging terminal part and to output a voltage different from the input voltage; and a second switching element (150, 350, 351) connected between the converter circuit and the battery cell.</p> |
