FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: installation for fabrication of tubular insulator consists of roller for supply of mat with wound fibre glass mat. For transporting a fibre glass mat there is provided multitude of transporting rollers. Also, there is a roller for application of binding substance on surface of the fibre-glass mat. The fibre glass mat covered with binding substance is scores of times wound onto a forming roller to form a tubular insulator. A pinch roller is arranged parallel to the forming roller. The pressure regulator vertically transfers the pinch roller pressing the fibre glass mat wound on the forming roller and facilitating application of binding substance onto fibre glass mat. A coding sensor measures length of fibre glass transportation. Additionally, there is a cutting unit transferred into a cutting position to cut a fibre glass mat along diagonal after obtaining a required length of fibre glass transportation, where upon the cutting unit returns to an initial position. The installation also has a control system, a sensor and multitude of driven electric engines and transferring elements. ^ EFFECT: fabrication of tubular insulator of high density possessing improved strength and heat insulating efficiency at low production expenditures; reduced number of process operations and lines and improved efficiency. ^ 8 cl, 9 dwg |
