A backlight unit (200) comprising a plurality of light sources (217), at least one optical sheet (250) disposed on the plurality of light sources (217), a plurality of first holes (251) formed on an upper first side (255) of the at least one optical sheet (250) and a plurality of second holes (251) formed on a lower second side (256) of the at least one optical sheet (250), the upper first side (255) and the lower second side (256) being opposite sides of the at least one optical sheet (250), wherein the first holes (251) are asymmetrical in position and numer with the plurality of second holes (251). The optical sheets (250) are configured to be mounted to a cover (300) by coupling the holes provided on the optical sheets (250) to corresponding fixing protrusions (310) provided on the cover (300). The holes (251) and corresponding protrusions (310) are configured to reduce damage or misalignment to the optical sheet (250) that may be caused by heat generated inside the backlight unit (200). |
