The device has a body (3) whose cavity (4) is opened in an external surface of the body. A radio frequency identification module (8) is placed in the cavity and assembled on a housing of an insert (14). The insert is mounted in the cavity. A blocking unit of the insert is placed in the cavity. The blocking unit is moved between an insertion position allowing insertion of the insert inside the cavity and a blocking position in which the blocking unit cooperate with a retaining portion (6) of the cavity to prevent withdrawn of the insert outside of the cavity. An independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing of a medical device.
