<p>A pneumatic tire comprises a tread pattern provided with: a center land row which includes the equatorial surface of the tire; intermediate land rows which are located on both sides of and outside of the center land row in the widthwise direction of the tire; and side land rows which are located on both sides of and outside of the intermediate land rows in the widthwise direction of the tire. Sipes are formed in each of the center, intermediate, and side land rows. The sipes in the center land row extend rectilinearly in the widthwise direction of the tire, and at least 1/3 in the number of the sipes in the center land row have a width greater than the width of the sipes in the remaining land rows.</p> |
