<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device of an electronic keyboard musical instrument, capable of providing the same operation feeling as a damper pedal of an acoustic piano, while it is made small. <P>SOLUTION: In the pedal device 1, a first spring 50 is arranged closer to an operation position where stamping operation is performed by a player than a support position which is supported by a chassis 10 of a third pedal 40, and first reaction force is applied to the third pedal 40 on a side closer to the operation position than the support position. A second reaction force-applying mechanism 42 is arranged on a side closer to an operation position of the third pedal 40 than the first spring 50, and second reaction force is applied to the third pedal 40 on a side closer to the operation position than the arrangement position of the first spring 50. Consequently, elastic force required for the second reaction force-applying mechanism 42 is made small by setting the position farther from the support position of the third pedal 40 but closer to the operation position thereof.
