<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device suitable for reducing power consumption of a radio receiving device which receives and demodulates a radio signal, to provide the radio receiving device, and to provide the operation control method. <P>SOLUTION: The radio receiving device 1 is constituted by including: an antenna 101; an LNA 102; a detection circuit 103; an LPF 104; an amplifier 105; a determination unit 106; an operation control unit 107; and a baseband processing unit 108, wherein the operation control unit 107 is constituted by including: a first detection window signal generation unit 107a; a determination signal detection unit 107b; a second detection window signal generation unit 107c; a synchronizing signal generation unit 107d; a third detection window signal generation unit 107e; a synchronizing signal determination unit 107f; and a selector 107g.
