摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle mixture which can be converted to a precursor of a lithium transition metal silicate-based compound with a small particle size and low crystallinity, and to provide a positive electrode active material containing a lithium transition metal silicate-based compound and performing charge and discharge reactions in a room-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The fine particle mixture is a mixture of silicon oxide fine particles, transition metal oxide fine particles and lithium transition metal silicate fine particles, and has diffraction peaks near 2&theta;=33.1&deg; and near 2&theta;=35.7&deg; in a powder X-ray diffraction measurement, wherein the silicon oxide fine particles and the transition metal oxide fine particles are amorphous and the lithium transition metal silicate fine particles are microcrystalline or amorphous.
