<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a search radar device capable of inhibiting a level of a ghost occurring by influence of side lobes, relatively improving a desired signal level and detecting a desired target, without fail. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device extracts a reception signal from an echo at a target of a transmission beam received at an array antenna, appearing in a plurality of reception beams concurrently, formed in at least the same direction as those of a plurality of transmission beams per transmission beam of the plurality of time-division transmitted transmission beams. the device includes a means for generating a synthetic reception signal comprising reception signals arranged on a time axis which are obtained by extracting from the reception beam for a plurality of transmission beams, including a predetermined number of continuous transmission beams among the respective plurality of transmission beams for each beam spot; and a means for carrying out correlative processing of the synthetic reception signal with a preobtained pattern function, dispersively indicating an antenna pattern of the array antenna, according to the transmission pulse width and the beam-spot interval of the transmission beam and generating the reception signal with unwanted wave components reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
