PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology suitable for preventing the leakage of useless radiation by a warp of PDPPDP, and the deformation of a PDP fixing metal and a front plane frame. SOLUTION: This PDP device includes a side edge PDP fixing metal (2) and an upper edge PDP fixing metal (13) pressurizing a PDP optical filter through a conductive gasket (10), a projecting part (46) of the side edge PDP fixing metal (2) is placed at a front plane side of the upper edge PDP fixing metal (13), a rising part (47) of the side edge PDP fixing metal (2) is inserted into a notch (48) of the upper edge PDP fixing metal (13). Thereby, a load applied to the PDP fixing metal which is caused by the warp of the PDP can be received mutually, then the mutual deformation of the side edge PDP fixing metal and the upper edge fixing metal is prevented.
