Disclosed is a heat dissipating structure that has excellent heat dissipation efficiency and a novel structure. The heat dissipating structure is provided with a heat source and a radiator that are disposed mutually facing, depressions that are formed in at least one of the facing surfaces of the heat source and the radiator, and a heat transferring structure that includes: a packed layer of thermoplastic that is disposed between the heat source and the radiator and that touches the facing surfaces of the heat source and the radiator, and a carbon nanotube assembly that is distributed within the thermoplastic and oriented vertically on the surface of the packed layer, and in which both ends of the assembly touch the facing surfaces of the heat source and the radiator and the distribution thereof along the facing surfaces is regulated by the depressions.
