摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor type latch relay, which has a function capable of performing protection at overcurrent, without consuming circuit current by relay itself when energized. SOLUTION: A semiconductor switching element 20 is driven by using a CMOS type RS flip-flop circuit 10 in which a circuit current is not generated. Power supply to a temperature-sensitive shutoff circuit 30 is performed only when overcurrent flows through the semiconductor switching element 20, using a power supply element 40 and a high resistor 50. The circuit current includes only a current which flows through the high resistor 50, when the semiconductor switching element 20 is off. Thereby, the semiconductor type latch relay 1 has the function capable of performing protection at the overcurrent, without consuming the circuit current by relay itself when energized.
