PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at low cost a connecting structure of a rod-like member and plate members which can transmit required torque even when welding joint portions are minimized, in which the rigidity of the plate members is high, and which can maintain durability and corrosion resistance even without providing post plating. SOLUTION: The rod-like member of a circular shape in cross section, on the outer surface of the end of which protruding parts are formed, and two pieces of the plate members are prepared. A cutout part of a semicircular shape, which is fitted to the outer circumference of the rod-like member of the circular shape in cross section, is formed at the end of each plate member. Concurrently, recessed parts, which are fitted to the protruding parts are provided outside the cutout part by half blanking. After setting the two pieces of the plate members together in such a way that the recessed parts encircle the protruding parts of the end of the rod-like member of the circular shape in cross section, two pieces of the plate members and the protruding parts and the recessed parts are fixed to each other.
