The invention relates to a corner deflection (1) for an espagnolette fitting that is accommodated in a fitting-receiving groove of a window or door leaf. Said corner deflection (1) comprises two cover rails (3, 5) which are interconnected via a joint (4), and a guide channel (6) for a deflection member (25) that can be coupled to two espagnolettes (2, 21) which can be moved relative to one another at a right angle and are guided along the cover rails (3, 5). The guide channel (6) is provided with two legs (7, 8) that are arranged at an angle from each other as well as a transition bow (9) that connects the two legs (7, 8). One of the legs (7, 8) is permanently assigned to one of the cover rails (3, 5). In order to simplify the production of said corner deflection and increase the serviceability thereof during assembly, the cover rails (3, 5) extend at an angle of 180° from each other in the delivered state while the joint (4) is composed of a set bending point. |
