<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily maintain basic reliability as a steering system by properly maintaining a left steering characteristic in left steering and a right steering characteristic in right steering so as not to cause a difference by taking into consideration vehicle behavior. <P>SOLUTION: Detected steering torque Ts is linearized, a characteristic of lateral acceleration Ay to linearized steering torque Th is acquired as a steering characteristic, rates of change PL and PR of the lateral acceleration Ay to the linearized steering torque Th are arithmetically operated on the respective left steering characteristic and right steering characteristic of the steering characteristic, assist torque Ta is arithmetically operated by correcting basic assist torque Tb based on a difference between the rates of change PL and PR and is output to a motor driving part 21, and steering force is assisted by driving an electric motor 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
