METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING TRANSPORT BEARER, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING MEDIA ACCESS CONTROL-DEDICATED FLOW

A method and system for transmitting Media Access Control-dedicated flow (MAC-d flow) are provided in the present invention. Said method includes the following steps: for two cells that can be combined to a dual-cell, a first Radio Network Controller (RNC) transmits a MAC-d flow, which is sent by a terminal from said two cells, to a second RNC through an Interconnection of RNC (IUR) interface transport bearer; and for a single cell of an non-dual-cell, the first RNC transmits each MAC-d flow, which is sent by the terminal from said single cell, to the second RNC through an IUR interface transport bearer corresponding to the MAC-d flow. The method and system in the present invention need not perform amendments or additions on the characteristics of an IUR interface and the configuration information provided on an IUR interface, which are provided in the prior art. Thus a better backwards compatibility is enabled.
