The nonwoven fabric has fibers of a fiber raw material that contains gelatin. The fibers are provided with an antimicrobially effective agent or an antibiotic. The fibers are produced by a rotating spinning method and are twisted or interlocked with each other or has a twisted structure. An independent claim is included for a rotation spin method for producing a nonwoven.
