<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail column installing structure for surely installing a handrail column on a side surface of a beam and a girder of a building in the predetermined height in a vertical attitude. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail column installing structure includes a baseplate 10 fixed to the side surface of the beam H, having a recessed groove 13 vertical to an inside surface 12 contacting with the side surface of such a beam H and having a pair of upper-lower laterally long elongate holes 17 penetrating through a space between a bottom surface and an outside surface 14 of such a recessed groove 13, a nut plate 18 loosely fitted in the recessed groove 13 of such a baseplate 10 and having a pair of upper-lower female screw holes 19 communicating with the pair of elongate holes 17, the column 2 having an inside wall contacting with the outside surface 14 of the baseplate 10 and having a pair of upper-lower through-holes 2a on such an inside wall, and a plurality of fixing bolts B penetrating through the respective through-holes 2a of such a column 2 and the respective elongate holes 17 of the baseplate 10 and threadedly engaging with the respective female screw holes 19 of the nut plate 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
