PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mount multiphase inductor having excellent mountability, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The surface mount multiphase inductor has a plurality of coils formed by winding a conductor and having both ends of flat shape. It also has a core enclosing a plurality of coils principally composed of magnetic powder and a binder, and an external electrode formed on the surface of one core. Both ends of the conductor of a coil are located on the outermost periphery. The plurality of coils are enclosed so that the winding axis of the coil is parallel with the surface of a core on which the external electrode is formed. |
