FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and aims at increasing efficiency of shunting. Proposed method consists in optimising power plant operation. Power plant operation optimisation allows for operation of diesel-generators of different output. Said optimisation is realised by combination of connection of diesel-generators and power storage battery. Diesel locomotive is started by said power storage battery. At low loads, low-output diesel-generator and storage battery operate. At high loads, high-output diesel-generator and storage battery operate. At high loads, two high-output diesel-generators and storage battery operate. Electric power is recovered in diesel locomotive braking by changing traction motors in generator mode. Power storage batteries charging, diesel locomotive warming up and motor drying are carried out by low-output diesel-generator. Operating conditions of diesel-generators and power storage batteries are set via locomotive parameters remote control GLONAS (global positioning system) system depending upon horizontal and vertical road profiles and climatic operating conditions of engines. ^ EFFECT: optimised operation, reduced fuel consumption. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
