METHOD FOR INSTALLING MEASURING EQUIPMENT IN A WORKING POSITION AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME

Use: the method and device relate to the field of geodetic measurements as well as to the field of geodetic instrument making. Essence of the invention: analytical reduction of measured values in a fixed position taking into account the centering error measured in the automatic mode is performed when producing geodetic measurements in a locality. For this purpose, the device is equipped with a matrix of electromagnetic radiation receivers and a source of electromagnetic radiation, which is arranged at a fixed point at which the measuring equipment is installed. The electronic system is designed taking into consideration an algorithm for calculating the linear element of the centering error as well as taking into consideration algorithms for calculating and correcting the measured values. The use of the method and device makes it possible to perform the measurement with accuracy and with a high level of accuracy over short survey legs immediately after the measuring equipment has been installed mechanically roughly at a fixed point in the locality with a linear deviation in the centering of the measuring equipment of up to 30-40 mm (or more).
