<p>Producing a coating structure with biocidal activity against fungi, mold, algae, bacteria or their symbiosis, comprises applying or bringing at least two different active agents in operations that are temporally separated from each other, where at least one active agent (a) comprises at least a pyrithione ions releasing, water soluble or water dilutable pyrithione compound with a solubility greater than that of zinc pyrithione in aqueous solution and an another active agent (b) comprises at least a zinc-, copper- and/or silver- compound and does not comprises pyrithione compound.
