<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of preventing large reduction in a battery voltage by grasping reduction of the battery voltage even after resetting a microcomputer. <P>SOLUTION: In the idling stop device 1, when the voltage of the battery 51 is reduced and a voltage VCC of a power source of the microcomputer 2 is reduced less than the lowest action voltage Vt of the microcomputer 2, the microcomputer 2 is reset. Whereas, the voltage reduction information is stored in a memory part 3. Then, the microcomputer 2 after resetting can grasp that the voltage of the battery 51 is reduced based on the voltage reduction information. After that, the microcomputer 2 stops feeding of the electric power to an electric load part 58 when an engine 57 is started.
