PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly having a structure in which contact reliability can be assured in between shells, even when an overall size is got smaller. SOLUTION: The connector assembly 10 is constituted by inserting a first connector 100 into a second connector 200. The first connector 100 has a first shell 130, and the second connector 200 has a second shell 230. The first shell 130 has a spring 140 extended to have a longitudinal part in the pitch direction (Y direction) of a contact, and a contact point 142 supported by the spring 140 so as to be possibly displaced in the direction normal to the pitch direction. The first shell 130 is connected to the second shell 230 by at least bringing the contact part 142 to the second shell 230, when the first connector 100 is inserted into the second connector 200.
