The method involves transferring an evaporated liquid from a quantity of air into another quantity of air, where the latter quantity of air is smaller than the former quantity of air. The evaporated liquid from the former quantity of air is sorbed in a sorption agent, and desorbed in the latter quantity of air, where the two quantity of air comprises an equal amount of air pressure. A specified dew point temperature of the latter quantity of air is greater than an exterior temperature under typical operating conditions. An independent claim is also included for a device for recovering an evaporated liquid from an air stream.
