<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for searching a gradient change point of a tapered steel sheet enabling to cut the steel sheet to be adjusted to a final product, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the tapered steel sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The method for searching the gradient change point of the tapered steel sheet includes: a step of measuring a thickness of the tapered steel sheet at n locations in the longitudinal direction thereof; a step of calculating a thickness difference between arbitrary two thickness measuring locations; a step of calculating a taper degree using the thickness difference and a distance between the arbitrary two thickness measuring places; a step of determining whether or not the calculated taper degree is equal to or more than a reference value; and a step of determining taper number for determining whether or not all the taper degrees of the x taper degrees are equal to or more than the reference value. When determined to be positive in the taper number determining step, a first thickness measuring location corresponding to the first taper degree of the x taper degrees is determined to be the gradient change point of the tapered steel sheet. The method for manufacturing the tapered steel sheet includes a step of determining the cutting position of the tapered steel sheet with the gradient change point determined in the method as a reference and a step of cutting the tapered steel sheet at a determined cutting position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
