PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductive film of high electrical conductivity, and having les damages to a conductive metal layer, at water-washing treatment, or the like, in forming a pattern of the conductive metal layer. SOLUTION: The transparent conductive film is provided with a conductive metal layer containing metal fiber, a polymer with a hydroxy group, and polyanion, on a transparent support body. It is preferable that the polyanion contain a sulfo group, particularly, the polyanion be polystyrene sulfonate or its derivative, a hydroxyl value of the polymer contain the hydroxy group is 500 mg/g or more and 2,000 mg/g or less, and further, the conductive metal layer be placed put subjected to thermal treatment at 100 to 200°C, after the same is fitted on the transparent support body.
