<p>The pneumatic actuator has a housing and a membrane (3), which divides a working chamber in the housing. The working chamber is connected to an over-or under-pressure source. The membrane is an interconnection between fibers formed by insert molding of fibers and is an elastomer, where the elastomer is a silicon elastomer. The fibers are made of plastic, particularly from polyaramide. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pneumatic actuator.</p> |
