PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for an endoscope, capable of more reliably achieving electrical connection to the endoscope. SOLUTION: The adapter 1 for the endoscope includes an electronic component and an electrical connection 40 for electrically connecting the electronic component and an insert part 101 of the endoscope to each other, and the adapter can be removed from the insert part. The electrical connection includes: a first contact part 42 having an insulating cylindrical part 41, a first contact 45 connected to the insert part, a first elastic member for biasing the first contact to the insert part side at a first end part, and a first wall part supporting a second end part of the first elastic member, and inserted in the cylindrical part and secured to the inner wall of the cylindrical part; and a second contact part 43 having a second contact 50 connected to an electronic component, a second elastic member for biasing the second contact to the electronic component side at the first end part, and a second wall part supporting a second end part of the second elastic member, and housed in the cylindrical part. When the adapter for the endoscope is mounted to the insert part, the electronic component and the insert part are electrically connected to the first contact part and the second contact part.
