摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of drivability, switching from a fixed shift mode to a continuously variable shift mode. <P>SOLUTION: A device (100) for controlling a hybrid vehicle (1), provided with an internal combustion engine (200); a power transmission mechanism (400); first rotary electrical machinery (MG1); second rotary electrical machinery (MG2); an electricity accumulation means (12); and a lock mechanism (400), and configured to attain a continuously variable shift mode and a fixed shift mode. The device is provided with a first specifying means for specifying the upper limit output of an internal combustion engine, corresponding to the upper-limit value of reaction torque which can be applied from a status that the operation of first rotary electrical machinery is stopped; a second specification means for specifying the upper-limit output of the second rotating electrical machine; a third specifying means for specifying the requested output of the hybrid vehicle; and a first control means for, when the request output of the hybrid vehicle is larger than the sum of the upper-limit output of the internal combustion engine and the upper-limit output of the second rotating electrical machine for switching a shift mode to a continuously variable shift mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
