PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcasting receiver for supporting user's selection of desired content of VOD service. SOLUTION: The television broadcasting receiver including an Internet connection function includes a display signal generation unit (see steps S10 to S90) for generating a display signal for displaying information on content that is provided by the VOD service and is identical to or similar to that of a television broadcasting program currently being viewed.
