A thermally at least largely decoupled support element (4) is fastened in a light fixture housing (1) and carries at least one luminaire (6) together with the associated ballast electronics (7). The ballast electronics (7) is surrounded by a heat reservoir which comprises a pressure-relieved reservoir housing (8) filled with a storage fluid (9). The storage fluid (9) is an electrically non-conductive liquid which thermally contacts the temperature-critical components directly and therefore allows good heat dissipation of and thermal shielding from heat irradiated from the exterior for example in the event of a fire.
