PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing aid image display device which reliably displays a writing aid image on an object to be written without being largely limited by the relative positions of the object and the display device, while the feeling of holding a writing material is not changed when the display is used and when not used. SOLUTION: The writing aid image display device 1 is used by being placed on the sheet-shaped object to be written, and includes a laser light source, a light-emitting part which emits the laser light, and an optical scanning part which scans the object to be written with the laser light emitted from the light-emitting part and displays a writing aid image on the object to be written.
