<p>A system and method for management of facilities including operational monitoring and control, is provided, which is particularly applicable to building management systems for monitoring and control of energy usage in multi-unit and multi-tenant buildings. The system provides a multi-process communication environment for distributed independent applications. It is also is scalable and provides for management of energy consumption, or usage of other services or utilities with increased granularity, e.g. on a per unit, per tenant basis, and/or to provide for aggregation of data from multiple sites or facilities.</p> |
