The refrigerator has a boundary wall (7) e.g. plastic composite panel, for defining a cavity of an apparatus body and/or an apparatus door, where the cavity is filled with a heat insulating foam and the apparatus body defines a cooling space. The boundary wall is comprised of a plastic carrier layer and a decoration layer i.e. metal film such as aluminum sheet. Recesses are formed in the plastic carrier layer at a side opposite the decoration layer, where a target bending point for molding the boundary wall is provided by the recesses.
