<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming high-image quality and high-resolution image even in image formation by means of a plurality of beams. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100, in which a polygon mirror 102a is used, a plurality of laser beams simultaneously scanned, photoreceptors 104a, 106a, 108a, 110a are exposed and, thereby, the image formation is performed, includes a calculation means 356 for calculating writing times of respective pixels in a region where continuous writing is performed in a sub scanning direction in image patterns formed on the photoreceptors, wherein, when the writing times calculated by the calculation means 356 is the minimum writing times of the patterns which form respective pixels, pixels are added in the sub scanning direction and the image formation is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
