The invention relates to a mechanism for supporting, guiding and braking the position of a stair lift destined for old persons or those with locomotor dysfunctions. According to the invention, the mechanism comprises a main cylindrical bushing (1) inside which there are supported two radial-axial bearings (2) spaced apart by a spacing bushing (3), a driving axle (4), belonging to a gear motor group, placed inside the cylindrical bushings (1), provided with a driving pinion (5), a support plate (6) supported outside the cylindrical bushing (1) by means of two intermediary bushes (7 and 8) and a slip bushing (9), at an upper end of the plate (6) there being arranged a roller assembly (10) playing the role of supporting and guiding a stair lift, the intermediary bushing (7), with outside toothing, engages with a toothed wheel (11) which may rotate freely about an axle (12), two plates (13 and 14) being supported outside the cylindrical and intermediary bushings (1 and 8), the axle (12) penetrates the two plates (13 and 14) rotatably fixing between them the toothed wheel (11), an intermediary plate (15) being also supported with its upper end on the axle (12), said intermediary plate (15) being displaceable integrally with a toothed wheel (11), the plate (15) to whose lower end there is fixed a stabilization roller assembly (16), an adjustable arm (17) being supported with its lower end at the lower end of the intermediary plate (15), in the vicinity of a point for fixing the stabilization roller assembly (16), and at the upper end there being supported in a fixed point provided on a stair lift housing. |
