<p>The disclosed hybrid vehicle comprises: a catalyst device (140) which is formed so as to be electrically heatable, and which purifies the exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine (10); a motor drive unit (75) for driving a motor (MG1 or MG2) for running the vehicle; a main power supply device (70) which supplies power supply voltage to the motor drive unit (75); a catalyst power supply device (100) which receives electrical power from the main power supply device (70), and supplies electrical power for heating to the catalyst device (140); and a control device (150) which controls the motor drive unit (75) and the catalyst power supply device (100). The control device (150) has a first control mode, and a second control mode which is stronger with respect to fluctuations in power supply voltage than the first control mode, as modes for controlling the motor drive unit (75). When changing the electrical power being supplied from the catalyst power supply device (100) to the catalyst device (140), the control device (150) controls the motor drive unit (75) in advance using the second control mode.</p> |
