METHOD FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF SLIDE BEARINGS

A method for improvement of performance characteristics of slide bearings wherein in non-stationary modes of bearing operation one switches on forced supply of lubricant that is supplied from force-feed oiler that is turned on for operation during a period enough for complete separation of friction surfaces of the shaft and the bearing that is set for a given machine. At stationary operation lubrication material is fed from pump that is brought into motion from motor, and at same time one recharges the force-feed oiler to previous pressure.
