<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a security management method, a security management program and a recording medium for extending functions of a framework while properly maintaining security. <P>SOLUTION: The device has a framework whose interface is partially opened, and executes an application program created based on the framework. The device has: a security management means for determining a security level given to the application program to limit the use of the framework by the application program according to the security level; and an authority management means for managing information showing authorities of use of the framework for every security level.
