PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt designed so as to prevent a belt put through the belt loop of trousers from sliding down when unfastening a buckle. SOLUTION: The belt is structured so that a joint member 9 joined to the belt loop 3 of trousers 2, is provided at the end part on the side of a buckle 6. The joint member can be fixedly joined to the belt loop of the trousers when worn, so that the belt on the side of the buckle is prevented from sliding down due to the weight of the buckle when the buckle is unfastened, and the belt put through the belt loop of the trousers is prevented from escaping from the belt loop.
