PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of preventing a submarine phenomenon occurring on an occupant who sits on the seat cushion upon frontal collision of a vehicle while supporting the sitting load of the occupant at the front end of the seat cushion even by a front panel without requiring a front rod. SOLUTION: This vehicle seat 1 includes a cushion frame 2 comprising a pair of lower arms 26, 26 fixed to both ends of a pair of upper rails 20, 20 in the longitudinal direction through brackets 22, 22, 24, 24, respectively, and a front panel 30 fixed so as to be installed between the front ends of the both lower arms 26, 26. The front panel 30 is installed so that both edges of the cushion support part 32 in the lateral direction of the vehicle are fixed to both lower arms 26, 26 by welding, respectively, and both edges of the submarine prevention part 34 in the lateral direction of the vehicle are fixed to the flanges 22a, 22a of the both brackets 22, 22 on the front end side by welding, respectively.
