PURPOSE: An image display device is provided to improve the visibility of 2D and 3D images as well as preventing the reduction of brightness in 2D image display. CONSTITUTION: An image display device comprises an image display panel which selectively implements a 2D image and a 3D image, a pattern retarder which is placed on the front of the liquid crystal display panel, and a first and a second minute sub pixels(SPr2/SPg2/SPb2). A data voltage in 2D data format is applied to a first and a second sub pixels when implementing the 2D image. |
